American Express is once again targeting select Platinum cardholders with a bonus for adding Authorized Users. These offers are sent by mail, email or show up online when you log into your accounts. You can now earn up to 10,000 Membership Rewards points just for adding one authorized user and spending $2,000. Check out the details of the offer below, and a link to see if you are targeted.
Add at least one additional user to your Amex Platinum credit card account and you will earn 10,000 Membership Rewards points when they spend $2,000 on their new card within the first 6 months.
You can check the Amex Offers section for this offer, or try this link to see if you are eligible.
The annual fee for up to 3 Additional Platinum Cards is $175. Each Additional Platinum Card after the first 3 Cards is $175. But if you don’t need the benefits that come with the additional Platinum cards, then it’s best to just add Additional Gold Cards to your account for free.
Recent Authorized User bonuses have been for just 5,000 Membership Rewards. Now many people are targeted to earn a 10,000 points bonus when adding an authorized user and spending $2,000. You can add users to your account without providing SSN, but the card will be closed if you don’t provide one within 60 days.
