IHG Promo, 20% Off Award Stays through May 25th

IHG has a new promotion with a 20% discount on award stays. The offer launched on May 22 for cardholders only, but it should be available to all now. Check out the details below.

Offer

Save 20% on IHG award for stays lasting 1-3 nights. The offer is valid for point and points + cash booking made by 4/5/2022, for stays from 3/22/2022 through 5/25/2022.

The offer first launched for cardholders only, but it now available to all IHG members. There’s no landing page for the promotion. Just head to the IHG site and make an eligible booking to see the discount.

Offer Terms

  • The Offer is for a 20% discount off the number of points needed to book a stay using points only. If using Points Cash, the 20% discount will be applied to the cash portion of each available option.
  • Only those Reward Nights booked between 3/22/2022 and 4/5/2022 for stays during the period from 3/22/2022 through 5/25/2022 qualify for the Offer.
  • The Offer is not available to use along with the “Fourth Reward Night Free” cardmember benefit when booking a stay of 4 or more consecutive Reward Nights.
  • The Offer will be applied for eligible cardmembers booking 3 or fewer consecutive Reward Nights.

Guru’s Wrap-up

With this promotion you should get some good value for your points. It is limited to stays of 3 nights or less, so you can’t stack it with the Fourth Reward Night Free benefit. However it does stack with the 10% discount from the old IHG Select card and free night certificates.

IHG recently improved the offer on the personal cards and launched a new business credit card.
